Tots & Rainbow Dance Classes at Sheldon School of Dance
Welcome to Sheldon School of Dance, where our youngest dancers begin their exciting journey into the world of movement, music, and imagination! Our Tots and Rainbow classes are specially designed for children aged approximately 2½ to 7 years. These sessions are packed with fun, creativity, and energy, giving little ones the perfect introduction to dance in a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment.
We understand that young children learn best through play. That’s why our classes combine imagination-based activities, simple dance steps, musical games, and lively group routines to help build confidence, coordination, and social skills — all while having a brilliant time!
What Are Tots & Rainbow Classes?
These classes are introductory-level, designed to get children moving, thinking, and using their imagination. With a mixture of party-style routines, easy choreography, nursery-inspired movement, and the basics of different dance styles, little dancers begin learning the foundations they’ll use as they grow.
During class, children might explore:
- Simple freestyle steps
- Gentle street dance movements
- Beginner ballroom and Latin concepts
- Musicality and rhythm
- Fun follow-along dances
